Because our business was expanding rapidly, in 2020, COPILOT moved their corporate headquarters from New Hyde Park, New York to Orlando, Florida. Once there, one of the first priorities of President Dr. Moby Kazmi was to find ways to support charitable causes in the local community.

When COPILOT Cares learned of the important work of the Orlando Union Rescue Mission (OURM) we joined them in their goal to help the tens of thousands of central Floridians escape food and shelter insecurity. To help the OURM, COPILOT cares donated over 5000 meals to local residents in need. In addition, through this charitable organization, COPILOT Cares has organized volunteers within our company and beyond to do the important work of serving meals at the mission in a spirit of respect and friendship, helping build community, in an environment that encourages dignity and self-reliance for those experiencing homelessness or food insecurity.

While COPILOT Cares connects with many philanthropic causes, we continue a lasting commitment to OURM and a shared dedication to improving our corner of the world.

A Vision for Visual Health

Around the world, thousands suffer from visual health conditions like cataracts. While common in the US, cataract surgeries are often inaccessible globally. COPILOT Cares prioritizes creating “Eye Camps” in regions like South Asia to address avoidable vision problems. Our senior leadership, including President Dr. Moby Kazmi, CTO Tynan Markey, and SVP Matthew McGrath, have personally visited these camps to oversee and support our efforts.

International Disaster Relief

This might mean building tents for flood victims, or helping to find shoes for displaced families. Hundreds of bags of flour, tins of cooking oil, lentils, tea, and other essential foods have been purchased and distributed with help from COPILOT Cares with the goal of providing a full month of food rations to villages we connect with internationally.

Care During COVID and Every Day

Like so many others, during the global pandemic, we shifted some of our efforts. COPILOT Cares continues to allocate resources toward providing necessities, such as masks and tests, in developing countries that desperately need them.
